Shipping policy

We ship orders on Monday through Wednesday, primarily via Priority Mail through the USPS.  Large orders (typically over $300) are the exception and typically ship via UPS Ground service.  We ship early in the week because of the perishable nature of our products, in order to minimize orders sitting in a warehouse over a weekend.  In addition, we do not ship outside the U.S. because we cannot guarantee the freshness of our products if sent to far-flung destinations.

We are based in Boston, Massachusetts, and orders to destinations on the East Coast typically arrive the day after shipping.  Orders to the Midwest arrive in two to four days, and orders to the West Coast in five to six days.

If you place an order on a Wednesday through Sunday, it will ship the following Monday.  If you place an order on a Monday or Tuesday, it will normally ship on Wednesday. Orders headed to the West Coast are the exception to this, because of the time in transit -- all West Coast orders ship on a Monday.

If you want to place an order now for delivery later, in time for a special occasion or holiday, you can select "delay my shipment" on the shopping cart page. A box will pop up for you to fill in your desired delivery date.

Our holiday ordering deadline for Easter 2016 is: Midnight Saturday, March 19 to guarantee delivery by Easter Sunday, March 27.
